A place to begin and erase the day, a place for time out and to rejuvenate, a place to cry and pray, a place to think and make life decisions.

What makes a successful portrait is the dialogue between the artist and the model, although it is always the artist that projects onto the canvas what they themselves are feeling and not necessarily at all what the model intended. In this way, every portrait painted is a self-portrait of the artist. My challenge is not so much to capture the essence of the model, but to capture the essence of myself.I paint to project visual representations of my life’s journey.
